An island in the sea so blue,
tiny in size with just three trees,
a boat sailing by under winds deft touch,
Please land on me! Calls the island,
but the boat passes on,
the island untouched,
and the island sleeps again.

the glowing walls
painted red and orange
window's light peaking through
starting a day
changing hues
clouds breaking gold
darkness fleeing
a sky so blue

Surprise at home

upon entering
frozen shock
standing there
greeting me
in her all together

time stops.
heart beats.

stalking me
swaying hips
a sly smile
gleaming eyes
a kiss soft and yielding

caressing hair
the lightest touch
the brownest eyes
radiating warmth
saying "Welcome home."

skeletal strings sketching noise
embarking upon the shifting sea
of the notes not heard the music grand

the mind fills in
walking upon a rainbow
making ground of light

truth or minds own trick
